A walk in the woods..

Oh well, what do I write on this first day? Let me introduce myself.. I work with an MNC in Kolkata as an Area Director . Art for me has been an enjoyable time pass since childhood and also a form of self expression. Lately it has also proved to be just the right stress buster, a flight of fantasy to escape realities and pressures that come with juggling various roles. I plan to post a few of my sketches/paintings on a regular basis and get your feedback.

This one i have posted today was done with soft pastels on a grainy paper. I had taken photographs on a recent family trip this year to Shillong and this sketch is from one of them. I am glad I have been able to capture the sunlight streaming through. Let me know what you think!
