SERENITY
This I did yesterday with what is turning out to be my favourite medium, dry pastels. I am happy I was able to bring out the contour of the woman's face with some amount of realism and also I like the way the play of light and shadow shows through.

You ARE maturing faster than I can keep pace with. Very good painting. But btw have you done it keeping a Rani Mukherjee portrait in view?
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks Baba..no certainly not Rani Mukherjee, though I can imagine the slight resemblance due to hazel eyes..nah this one has a more oblong face. I did this from a photograph.
ReplyDeleteYour description is apt in terms of realism. Great work!

ReplyDeleteGood one, rather than going for Rani Mukherjee painting, u may prefer ur view nd the see the colour outcome of beauty !
ReplyDeleteHi Anon, didnt understand this comment..for the record, this wasnt at attempt at sketchg Rani Mukherjee, with all due respect to her.
DeleteI ws simply talking about ur potrait in view rather than thinking Rani view nd see the output of ur beauty in the painting !
