SERENITY
This I did yesterday with what is turning out to be my favourite medium, dry pastels. I am happy I was able to bring out the contour of the woman's face with some amount of realism and also I like the way the play of light and shadow shows through.

  1. You ARE maturing faster than I can keep pace with. Very good painting. But btw have you done it keeping a Rani Mukherjee portrait in view?

  2. Haha, thanks Baba..no certainly not Rani Mukherjee, though I can imagine the slight resemblance due to hazel eyes..nah this one has a more oblong face. I did this from a photograph.
